Msgr. Jerome Martinez y Alire Parish Hall
On Saturday, July 12, 2025 our parish hall was dedicated to our founding pastor, Msgr. Jerome Martinez y Alire. We honor Monsignor Jerome, whose faithful priestly ministry has deeply blessed our parish and the wider Church. With a heart rooted in faith, culture, and service, Msgr. Martinez y Alire has devoted his life to proclaiming the Gospel and shepherding God’s people with wisdom, compassion, and integrity.
A Mass honoring this beloved shepherd’s legacy was celebrated at 5:00pm, followed by a procession with La Conquistadora and Los Caballeros de Vargas to the parish hall, where the unveiling of commemorative name plaques took place. A reception followed and was attended by many of Monsignor’s past parishioners, friends, and fellow clergy—testaments to the lasting impact of his ministry and the love he has inspired in so many hearts.
Born and raised in a strong Catholic tradition, he has served the Archdiocese of Santa Fe with distinction for decades. Known for his pastoral leadership, reverence for liturgy, and deep respect for the people and history of New Mexico, Monsignor Jerome has guided many with a gentle spirit and unwavering dedication.
We thank God for the gift of his vocation and continue to pray for his health, joy, and continued service in the vineyard of the Lord.
¡Gracias, Monsignor, por su vida de entrega y amor
