Lk 7:1-10

We know that this man is not Jewish and the military commander of one hundred men. But what is more important about him is that he is a compassionate man seeking the compassion of Jesus. The centurion’s words to Jesus are humble and thoughtful. Jesus acknowledges the man’s faith and heals his slave.

I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to sincerely and humbly express again that I am unworthy in those final moments preparation before receiving your body.
