Lk 6:43-49

Jesus uses the analogy of the trees and the parable of the two houses to teach the disciples about the importance of what is at the heart of a person’s actions. Goodness within will yield good actions and evil within will yield evil. Following Jesus, hearing him, trusting and believing in him, is the foundation upon which we are to build our lives.

During this time of remembering, let us pray for all people, those who suffer and those who inflict suffering. We are all children of God.
