Mk 10:35-45

It is unimaginable that these two disciples, after having heard Jesus speak of the suffering he will endure, could ask such a question. Jesus’ response is a challenge for them to examine very carefully the consequences to their following him.

With every challenge I face in doing your work, I must constantly remind myself that I am not doing it for my sake but rather in service to others and to you.
