Mt 14:22-36

Jesus is alone in prayer while his disciples are at sea. Because of the rough waters, they are not faring well. Jesus comes to their rescue, walking across the water. He calls to Peter, who gets out of the boat but does not last on the surface very long. His ardent love is great but his faith is weak.

When in the midst of the chaos of life, feeling battered and worn from the storm, I hear you Lord, calming my fears. You are the Son of God.
